Dates
Iran is one of the major suppliers of dates and is among the top three countries in the world. Due to the favorable climate (warm and humid) in the south of the country, this product is produced and exported in large quantities every year. Bam is one of the cities in Kerman that produces the most popular type of Iranian date, Mazafati.
India, England, China, France, Germany, Russia, Malaysia, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Ukraine, Japan and many other countries are importers of this product.
What distinguishes Iranian dates is their quality and reasonable price for wholesale buyers and distributors. Iran Fruit and Vegetable House is one of the most famous exporters of dates in Iran.
The largest tonnage produced are Mazafati, Zahedi, Piarom and Kabkab varieties.
The most common packaging of Mazafati dates is on average from 6.5 kg to 8.5 kg, and packaging with other designs and weights is possible upon customer request.
